Principal @#$%^&,

Every high school student has been educated about WWI and WWII, the Holocaust, and Pearl Harbor. There are still several important pieces of the war that are left out. There is no reason to why they aren't mentioned. Some of it isn't even recorded in text books, even though these events are large contributors to the war that caused several causalities. There was a great dispute between Japan and China in WWII. Million of Chinese innocent people and soldiers were killed, and about 90% of all students have never heard of this tragic event. The Rape of Nanking. The Japanese invaded china and raped and kill millions of people. But why was this never documented and lectured in school. The Holocaust was. Both of these events were just as bad , millions killed. Students shouldn't be deprived of this important event. It should be recognized along with several other important historical events. For example how many students are aware the event in acts of violence in DR Congo? Indigenous groups are killing each other. Between 1998 and 2008 (one decade) 5.4 Million have been raped and killed. About of the death were children under 5 years old. Most of which were from illnesses that could have easily been cured. At least 40,000 women and girls have been raped and in 2008 alone 1 million people were killed. It is still sad that barley any of us know about this. Maybe if people knew people would take action to help. It seams as if some one or something just does not want anyone to know about this. Its important for students to know whats going on and how we got to where we are that includes all historic events.
