You can tell that other races other than the white population have less opportunity to go to college or university where they had more of an opportunity to go to high school most likely due to free school paid by taxpayers. College is a big fortune so if your parents did not have that kind of opportunity then the chances for you are low too. There was also no such thing as college loans when some of your parents were attending college like there are today. It also depends on the family and their culture and lifestyle. Some cultures believe you have to go to school to get the education you need to become successful where some others feel the complete opposite where staying at home and a family business is more important.
